Next, we head towards Ribeira Brava, making our way to the island’s north side. Passing through Encumeada, we descend to the picturesque village of São Vicente. From there, we follow the scenic north coast until we reach Porto Moniz, where you’ll have the chance to explore the natural volcanic rock swimming pools—one of Madeira’s most unique attractions.
After a delightful lunch stop, we continue our journey back, crossing the Paul da Serra plateau and descending towards Calheta and Ponta do Sol. Our final stop is the breathtaking Cabo Girão viewpoint. This 580-meter-high cliff features a panoramic glass floor, providing spectacular views over Madeira’s south coast.
