Our tour begins with a visit to Camacha we visit the wicker studio, soon we go to the Pico do Areeiro viewpoint at 1818 meters where the views are simply fantastic. After the visit to the second highest point of the island we go towards Santana, a city well known for its traditional houses. Then we will visit the Ponta de São Lourenço, the most extreme east part of the island, where on a clear day we can see the Porto Santo and the desert islands. We return to Funchal through the town of Machico where in 1419 the Portuguese navigators came to rediscover the island.
