Ponta de São Lourenço WalkThe Ponta de São Lourenço is the most eastern peninsula of our island. It is formed by beautiful promontories of Roca, where you can observe the landscape and understand the volcanic origin through landscape. This area is regarded as nature reserve since 1982 and it is a totally different route than normal, due to which the vegetation is sparse and bait, which does not happen in the rest of the island. From the top of Ponta de São Lourenço we can observe on the North, the Porto Santo, on the South, the Ilhas Desertas and on the West, Machico City, where the discoverers landed in 1418.

Thursday: Caldeirão Verde levada walkThis is with no doubt one of the most beautiful levadas in Madeira Island. It is inserted in full Laurissilva and its main characteristics are certainly the predominant emerald-green colour, the fantastic views of S. Jorge and the large presence of the water element in almost all the journey. After going through five tunnels of natural basaltic rock we can delight in the waterfall of Caldeirão Verde, a beautiful waterfall with crystal clear and cold water.

Friday: Rabaçal/ 25 Fontes levada walkThis levada starts in the largest plateau of Madeira, the Paul da Serra. From here we can enjoy the most beautiful valley in Madeira, the Rabaçal. If there is a characteristic that represents this path is the presence of excessive water. We will visit the matrix of the Lajeado Levada, and then a spectacular green - blue lagoon. In this route we can see almost the whole endemic flora and fauna of Madeira Island.

Saturday: Levada do Rei This route start in the water treatment station in São Jorge, in the North of the island in Santana. This Route show us two different forests, the indigenous forest and the Laurissilva forest. This is a Beautiful trail, that shows the agricultural landscapes of the island and the famous Laurissilva Forest that provides shelter to several variety of fauna, such as the Bis-Bis (Firecrest) and the Tentilhão (Chaffinch). The Laurel is a species that can be seen in abundance in this trail as other endemic species of Madeira.
