Ribeiro Frio/ Portela Levada This amazing journey begins near the Ribeiro Frio Post Forest, and is one of the most famous and sought in Madeira Island. I has approximately 12 km of road between the light and shadow, the Flora and Fauna. It was recently refurbished by the government to help guides guide safely the customers. Note that this is inserted in a large area of the Laurissilva Forest (World Heritage by UNESCO since 1999). Price: 36€ per person. Includes: Official Mountain Guide, insurance and transport.
