We leave Funchal in the direction of Ribeira Brava, stopping at Candelaria (the top of Tábua), the point where it will be explained every detail and how to conduct off-road.
Then towards the Lombo do Mouro, with wonderful views of the Serra d'Água, until an altitude of 1620 meters is reached. Then up to Encumeada, until we arrive at São Vicente. We carry up to Porto Moniz overlooking the sea and fishing villages, stopping at the viewpoint of the "Véu da Noiva.". Arrival to Porto Moniz and lunch.
After lunch we go in the direction of Ribeira da Janela, where we will stop to observe the entire northern coast.
We climb up to Paul da Serra, which is the highest plateau of the island with 1200 meters, then down to Ponta do Sol, and back to Funchal.
